Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer

Zscaler is seeking a seasoned Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Product Security Engineering department in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will contribute to securing the world's largest cloud security platform and participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years focused on developing backend cloud systems using Python or Go
• Proficiency in building web services using REST, GraphML, or gRPC and managing secure endpoint communication
• Experience with containerized application development and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Proficiency in designing, deploying, and operating services and applications on AWS including familiarity with IaC frameworks such as Terraform or CDK
