Staff Software Development Engineer

Zscaler is looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will work on designing and building shared platform services to make Zscaler's global infrastructure cloud-agnostic, and will have the opportunity to build high-quality technical artifacts and implement robust data and messaging solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with working experience on large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java and Go for building production-grade microservices in a Linux environment
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and the operational management of containerized services
• Deep expertise in datastores and messaging, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, and Redis
• Strong technical documentation skills, with a focus on architecture, system design, and diagrams
