Industrial Engineer

The Staff Industrial Engineer is responsible for leading the development and implementation of industrial models and analytical tools that support manufacturing decision making, and leads the Industrial Engineering team in turning data into information, information into insights, and insights into key business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years relevant experience in an engineering role
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Fluency with business intelligence and analysis tools such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents
• Hands-on experience building, running, and analyzing simulations and designing models to optimize complex manufacturing workflows and capacity constraints
• Growth mindset, independent initiative, and ability to learn technical methods and tools independently
• Fluency in mathematical computing with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, R, Java)
• Fluency in data visualization / presentation skills
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines
• Fluency with continuous improvement / lean programs
• Fluency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
