Senior Python Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will work with interdisciplinary teams to develop, test, and ship software that meets clients' needs. You will solve complex software challenges and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and maintain backend services primarily in Python, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases. You will also contribute to containerised, cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field (bachelor's/master's)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the Python stack and a second stack in either Java,.NET or Javascript
• Strong experience in Python backend development (senior level preferred)
• Full-stack experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Next.js, HTML and CSS
• Solid understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred), and Docker
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team
