Category Manager, Indirect Strategic Sourcing

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Category Manager for Indirect Strategic Sourcing to develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier management strategy for indirect materials and services. The role requires a BA/BS degree, 7+ years of experience in Indirect Category Management, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
• 7+10 years experience in Indirect Category Management
• Experience with sourcing of Manufacturing Spend categories; sense of urgency, strong critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a manufacturing or operational environment
• Strong analytical capability with ability to interpret complex spend and operational data
• Strong negotiation and commercial strategy development skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting multiple deadlines for leadership
• Continuous improvement mindset, including the ability to innovate and simplify legacy processes
