Developer Relations Lead

Zyphra is seeking a Developer Relations Lead to own the developer community that forms around their open-source models and AI agent, Maia. The successful candidate will be the primary face of Zyphra to the global developer community, building and scaling presence on GitHub, Discord, X, and at industry events.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, open-source community management, or a closely related technical role at an AI, ML, or developer tools company
• Demonstrated track record of building or meaningfully growing a technical developer community measured in GitHub engagement, Discord or Slack membership, social following, or conference presence
• Strong technical foundation in AI and machine learning, with understanding of model architecture, inference, fine-tuning, and deployment
• A natural communicator who can explain highly technical concepts clearly across formats
• Self-directed and energized by building from scratch, thriving in early-stage environments
• Deep familiarity with the open-source AI ecosystem and its platforms, communities, events, and voices
