Senior DevOps Engineer (Linux Infrastructure) - São Paulo Based

1GLOBAL is a technology-driven global mobile communications provider looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Technology Department. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of deep Linux systems engineering experience, proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, and expertise in Ansible and Terraform. The role will involve designing, deploying, and managing runtime infrastructure, automating tasks, and ensuring optimal observability and performance of systems and applications.

Requirements

• Linux Mastery: 5+ years of deep Linux systems engineering (RHEL/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu)
• Network & Storage Savvy: Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, load balancing (HAProxy), and storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, SAN)
• Virtualization Expert: Heavy experience with virtualized environments, including resource allocation and performance troubleshooting
• Modern Orchestration: Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), with the ability to explain how containers interact with the underlying Linux kernel (cgroups/namespaces)
• Automation Architect: Expertise in Ansible for configuration management and Terraform for managing both cloud resources and on-prem providers
• Scripting: Advanced proficiency in Bash and Python for automating system tasks and data processing
• Security Mindset: Knowledge of OS hardening (SELinux/AppArmor), SSH key management, and internal compliance auditing
