Senior DevOps Engineer (Linux Infrastructure) - São Paulo Based

1GLOBAL is a technology-driven global mobile communications provider seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Linux infrastructure, cloud, and on-prem environments. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing runtime infrastructure, planning container orchestration, and automating tasks. Responsibilities include system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as creating comprehensive documentation for peers and users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of deep Linux systems engineering (RHEL/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, load balancing (HAProxy), and storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, SAN)
• Heavy experience with virtualized environments, including resource allocation and performance troubleshooting
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), with the ability to explain how containers interact with the underlying Linux kernel (cgroups/namespaces)
• Expertise in Ansible for configuration management and Terraform for managing both cloud resources and on-prem providers
• Advanced proficiency in Bash and Python for automating system tasks and data processing
• Knowledge of OS hardening (SELinux/AppArmor), SSH key management, and internal compliance auditing
