Information Security Intern

Role Overview

As an Information Security Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in a real-world security environment, learn from industry experts, and contribute to real-world projects. You'll assist in the quarterly security controls attestation process, support the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls, and ensure alignment of IT processes with organizational goals and objectives.

What You Will Do

Assist in the quarterly security controls attestation process, support the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls, ensure alignment of IT processes with organizational goals and objectives, provide assistance and support during internal and third-party audits or IT related assessments, prepare GRC reports, and maintain documentation related to governance, risk, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled or completed a post-secondary program in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of information security principles and practices
• Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of Power BI
