IT Security Intern

BorgWarner is seeking an IT Security Intern to support its information security program. The intern will play a crucial role in identifying systems and data affected by incidents, documenting security incident details, and contributing to security initiatives.

Requirements

• Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school.
• Ability to report onsite at least three days per week.
• Final/pre-final year of study in IT or related field (electronics, automation, etc.)
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Interest in Cybersecurity: Passion for learning about information security.
• Fluency in English language
• Optional Certifications: certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA are a plus.
