Job Description
EPIC Physician Billing Analyst responsible for configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Professional Billing module. Key responsibilities include system configuration and maintenance, workflow analysis and optimization, support and troubleshooting, training and education, and compliance and updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Certified in Epic Professional Billing
- Expertise in Epic's Professional Billing module
- Experience with system configuration and troubleshooting tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes
- Familiarity with medical billing codes and insurance procedures
- Knowledge of medical coding systems like CPT and ICD-10
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and effective communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated and a team player
