Job Description
EPIC Physician Billing Analyst required for Hicksville, NY location. Configure and customize Epic Professional Billing application, maintain Resolute Professional Billing module, and perform ongoing maintenance and updates. Analyze financial workflows, design and implement leading practice workflows, and provide support and troubleshooting for end-users.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Certified in Epic Professional Billing
- 3+ years of experience and expertise in Epic's Professional Billing module
- Experience with system configuration and troubleshooting tools
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing codes, and insurance procedures
- Familiarity with the differences between professional billing and hospital billing
- Knowledge of medical coding systems like CPT and ICD-10
