Job Description
To manage complex individual cases of vulnerable young people leaving the care system, assessing, planning, and coordinating services according to national and local policies and procedures. The Personal Advisor will work collaboratively with partner organizations, manage a caseload, and contribute to the development and delivery of interagency strategies.
Requirements
- Educated to minimum GCSE level C or above including Maths and English
- Full driving licence (unless disability precludes this)
- Relevant qualification
- Knowledge and understanding of human growth and development, and the particular issues relating to young people living care
- Relevant legislation, guidance including Children Act 1989, 2004, Children (leaving Care) Act 2000 Regulations and Guidance, Children and Social Work Act 2017
- Awareness of related key agencies
- Understanding of partnership working
