Job Description
The Substance Use Recovery Specialist will implement substance use recovery programing for a population living in ACOF's residential apartments. This role involves coordinating services, practicing harm reduction, and facilitating on-site support and recovery groups, as well as referring tenants to appropriate resources. The specialist should have a comprehensive understanding of substance use issues for individuals with a mental diagnosis.
Requirements
- Assess tenant’s mental health substance use and independent living needs.
- Support tenant driven recovery activities and groups.
- Assist tenants in connecting with recovery services and resources.
- Maintain individual tenant files.
- Prepare and submit reports.
