Job Description
A New Leaf is hiring an Early Childhood Specialist to work in a licensed childcare setting in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and 1 year of experience in childcare. Responsibilities include child screenings, lesson planning, and positive classroom climate management.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required
- AA in ECE or related field, or BS in Early Childhood or related preferred
- 1 year work experience in licensed childcare setting required
- 2 years childcare experience preferred
- Experience working with children who are at-risk and/ or children with special needs preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
