The Procurement Specialist, Repairs will be responsible for overseeing all phases of outsourcing part maintenance, repair, overhaul, and delivery, as well as adherence to all AAR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Manages, Plans, creates, organizes, tracks, and expedites the outsourcing of part repair
- Develops, evaluates, recommends, and manages repair vendors, ongoing relationships, and quality
- Review, negotiate, approve vendor quotes, and support management of vendor contractual obligations
- Periodically analyze and discuss program performance periodically
- Meet or exceed all Procurement Key Performance Indicators
- Communicate with various departments to manage the timely flow of parts
- Perform vendor and order management for assigned parts to proactively ensure customer commitments are maintained
- Ensure each transaction is compliant with all purchasing policies and procedures
- Support various departments with and participate in government and regulatory audits
- Suggest and participate in continuous improvement activities to drive process efficiencies
