Cyber Security Engineer

Role Overview

Install, configure, maintain, and manage security devices, provide technical advice, and assist in development and documentation of sensor process and checklists. Ensure end users adhere to security policies and procedures. Develop system concept of operations and engineering plans to execute security requirements.

What You Will Do

Diagnose and resolve end user problems, build tactical and strategic network profiles, develop reports and trend analysis documentation, maintain current knowledge on new vulnerabilities, and conduct troubleshooting and fault isolation.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in cyber security
• Associate's degree in a related field
• Security+ certified
• Network+ or CCNA certified
• ITIL Foundations certification
• Familiar with DIACAP, Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, and IA Controls
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies
• Linux experience
• Networking experience
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, ENS (Trellix), and ACAS
