Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. As a R&D Engineer I, you will be part of our Electrophysiology (EP) Catheter team focused on providing R&D support a wide range of market-released diagnostic, imaging, and ablation therapy catheters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical or related Engineering degree.
- 0-2 years of related work experience.
- Exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes used in medical devices, specifically deflectable sheaths and/or EP Catheters preferred.
- Worked with an electronic document control system (Windchill, etc.).
- Solidworks or other CAD experience.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders (client and internal), end-users, business partners, and technical team members.
