R&D Technical Lead

Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. The company is recruiting a R&D Technical Lead to join its Ventures organization, specifically for the transcatheter mitral valve replacement program. The individual will lead the technical direction of the engineering team and be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the next Gen TMVR delivery system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of medical device development experience.
• Catheter based delivery system experience within med device.
• Previous experience successfully managing direct reports and structuring work for others in work breakdowns and gants for program management.
• High level verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise using SolidWorks.
