Job Description
Abilities First, Inc. is seeking preschool and school-age Classroom Teachers for its Educational Learning Experience program in New Windsor, NY. This position focuses on assessing individual student needs, curriculum planning, classroom coordination, and providing therapy goals. The role involves consistent monitoring, instructional delivery, and staff communication.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Special Education with NYS Teaching Certification, or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with graduate level coursework.
- Ability to safely perform physical and behavioral interventions, including pushing, pulling, and lifting students.
- Valid NYS driver’s license.
