Job Description
Abilities First is seeking a Patient Teacher Aide for their Preschool program in Wappingers Falls, NY. This full-time temporary position offers a weekly schedule of 8:00am-3:00pm (with a 6-week summer program) and focuses on providing students with educational programming and assistance with classroom activities. The role emphasizes independence and offering opportunities for students' improved mobility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience within early childhood and special education (preferred).
- Ability to perform tasks requiring strength, coordination, and lifting.
- Understanding of CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention techniques, and lifting techniques.
