Cleaning/Waste Operative - Night

ABM UK is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning/Waste Operative to join our night shift team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, including effective waste management.

Requirements

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Manage and segregate waste in accordance with site and environmental regulations.
• Operate cleaning and waste handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Experience in cleaning and/or waste management preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and health screening.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in industrial or commercial environments.
