Building Maintenance Engineer

Building Maintenance Engineer responsible for operating and maintaining building equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring energy efficiency. Must be able to lift over 40 pounds, have good hearing and visual acuity, and perform supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Demonstrate mechanical ability
• Keep accurate records
• Operate various types of equipment
• Interface with the public, tenants, peers, and supervisors
• Prepare written reports, complete log sheets, and read, interpret, and work from plans, drawings, and specifications
• Lift over 40 pounds in the normal course of practicing their trade
• Good hearing and visual acuity to hear alarms and see strobes/visual alarms and distinguish different colors on lit panels and system controls
