Software Engineer 2

Abnormal Security is looking for a backend software engineer to work on customer-facing products that enable SOC teams to search across cloud email tenants, investigate threats, and perform remediation at scale.

Requirements

• Design and build backend services that power search, remediation, and quarantine workflows across multi-tenant enterprise email environments
• Work with the Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to scope, develop, and deliver features end-to-end
• Own the reliability of the systems you build, including unit tests, integration testing, and production observability
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
• Contribute to API design for customer-facing REST endpoints used by security operations teams
• Leverage AI development tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and deliver reliable production outcomes
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the engineering bar through code reviews and knowledge sharing
