The Grants Officer will support the Grants Management team to ensure grants are compliant with contract and client requirements and aligned with Abt systems, processes and procedures. The role will also support the Grants Management team to ensure grant finances are accurately tracked, recorded and reported. Specifically, the position will support the School Infrastructure Fund (SIF) Coordinator to manage SIF grants as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Two years of grant management experience with international donor, civil society, government or corporate philanthropy programs
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, and written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated financial proficiency and use of Microsoft Word/Excel and Smartsheet
- Education sector and/or small-scale infrastructure and equipment procurement or project management experience is desirable
