Federal Proposal Manager

The Proposal Manager leads the proposal development team in the AFS Proposal Lifecycle to drive the development and submission of compliant and compelling proposals. The Proposal Manager takes ownership in managing all aspects of the proposal process, leading the Proposal Management Team, and establishing communication with AFS Contract Management, Legal, and Pricing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7-10 years of experience managing federal proposals
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
• Experience developing compliant and compelling proposal content
• Knowledge of proposal lifecycle, including capture, planning, and submission
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
