Job Description
Accenture is seeking a Resident Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Capital Projects team, specifically focusing on Transportation sector projects. The role involves inspecting highway and roadway construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with contractors and utility agencies. Accenture aims to modernize infrastructure and improve project performance through data, technology, and a hands-on approach.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California
- Minimum 1 construction highway project for or on Caltrans
- Minimum 8 years’ experience conducting roadway and highway construction inspection in major public works projects
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with stress analysis, structural mechanics, and strength of materials
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with physical characteristics and properties of various roadway and bridge construction materials including concrete and steel
