Patient Access Scheduler

The Patient Access Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with clinical staff and other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Typing proficiency
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting or 3 years in customer service/reception
• Strong verbal, written, and active listening skills
• Ability to handle 50+ calls per day in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, personable, and committed to patient care
• Familiarity with office equipment and basic billing/insurance principles
• Flexibility to work alternative shifts, weekends, and travel to multiple locations
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
