Second Maitre d'hôtel

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for operational functions, improvement of the offer, financial management, benchmarking & marketing, and other tasks. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, fluency in French and English, and a sense of team management.

Requirements

• Experience between 3 and 5 years in a similar position
• Experience within an international hotel chain in a capital city and/or abroad
• Team leadership
• Fluency in French and English
• Important sense of team management
• Ability to work with attention to detail, speed, and autonomy
• Organizing and delegating tasks while following their evolution
• Knowledge of hygiene and HACCP
• In-depth knowledge of food products, wines, and spirits
• Mastering operational computer software (Outlook, Pack Office, Micros, Opera)
• Flexibility in work hours
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to focus on customer needs while remaining calm and courteous at all times
