Job Description
We are looking for a Yard Mule Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate shall possess previous yard mule experience in a fast-paced environment with at least 5 years of driving experience and a CDL with a good driving record.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous yard mule experience in a fast-paced environment with at least 5 years of driving experience
- CDL required along with good driving record
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read numbers and labels understand verbal and written instructions, effectively communicate in writing and verbally to observe safety precautions
- Ability to use hands to touch, handle and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
- Able to step on and off the Mule Tractor repeatedly for every move
- Able to attach and detach trailers at assigned docks repeatedly
