Job Description
The Avionics Technician performs maintenance on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems, following MFG specifications and FAA guidelines. Responsibilities include completing tasks, ensuring documentation, maintaining shop cleanliness, and building relationships with manufacturers and the FAA. This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position.
Requirements
- A passion for aviation
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, preferably corporate
- Ability to work as part of a team in a high-stress environment
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Aviation Maintenance Software)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform prolonged physical activities.
