Sr Database Administrator

Powering the world’s payments ecosystem. As a Sr Database Administrator at ACI Worldwide, you’ll be responsible for the 24/7 support and operational management and maintenance of SQL databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance, and collaborating with IT and development teams to support database operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field
• 10 years’ progressively responsible experience as a database administrator or a related occupation
• 10 years’ experience in SQL database administration and operations
• 10 years’ experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• 10 years’ experience with replication tools (GoldenGate, SQL replication, shareplex)
• 10 years’ experience in operations, supporting production Financial Applications, in a zero-downtime environment
• 7 years’ working with Ansible and Terraform
• 7 years’ experience working with other database technologies (Cassandra and Oracle)
• 5 years’ working knowledge of PL/SQL (for Oracle)
• Experience with database security and compliance standards and cloud-based database solutions
