Corporate Staff Accountant

Join our innovative and dynamic team at Acra Lending, where we’re shaping the future of mortgage lending and servicing. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to enhance our accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy.

Requirements

• Participate in general accounting functions, including monthly accruals, reversals and reconciling GL accounts.
• Understand and assist with accounts payable, fixed assets, and accounts receivable as assigned.
• Assist with month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy with assigned journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Recording and reconciling general ledger activity, to include accruals, amortization and loan level origination and purchase allocations.
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end closing and reporting.
• Assist with internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with tax and regulatory filings, such as state escheatment, excise tax, etc. as needed.
• Engage in ad hoc projects as needed/assigned.
