Requirements

• Proven experience in control software engineering (minimum 7 years preferred) with PLC and SCADA/HMI systems.
• Strong programming skills in ladder, structured text and scripting languages; experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, or similar.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC/UA).
• Practical understanding of control system commissioning, diagnostics and resolving on-site issues.
• Good documentation skills and experience producing technical specifications and test procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and validation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng or equivalent) or demonstrable industry experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support.
