Family Support Practitioner

We are looking for a Family Support Practitioner to join our team working across Derbyshire. As a Family Support Practitioner, you will provide support to children, young people, and families by agreeing and directly delivering interventions to enable positive and agreed outcomes to be achieved.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children aged 5 to 18 and families.
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
• Knowledge and experience to demonstrate your commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to be part of a team and multi-agency working.
• Flexibility as some occasional evening and weekend work is required.
• Access to a transport is essential as you'll need to be able to travel to schools, homes, and other settings across Derbyshire.
