Residential Support Worker

Residential Support Worker position at Ty Laura, a respite service supporting children and young people with additional learning and health needs. Part-time, permanent role with 28 hours per week. Salary £25,949 per annum (£19,637 pro-rata) plus £50 per sleep in.

Requirements

• Residential Support Worker role requires no previous experience, just a positive attitude and a genuine desire to support children and young people.
• Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing environment, offering personalised care, guidance, and advocacy.
• Assuming responsibility for the personal care and daily routines of the young individuals, providing support with personal hygiene, communication, administering of medication, and ensuring the safeguarding of our young people by accurate recording and reporting.
