Job Description
ActioNet is seeking a Sr Network Plant Engineer to join our team in multiple CONUS Locations sites. Travel is required for this position. The Senior engineer is responsible for survey, design, and implementation of physical fiber and copper cable plants, power connections, conduits, patch panels, butterfly diagrams.
Requirements
- Survey, design, and implementation of physical fiber and copper cable plants
- Oversee restoration of facilities to pre-install or better conditions
- Participate in site surveys and document current site ISP/OSP configurations
- Support the design and optimization of supporting infrastructure
- Develop SDPs and Final SPRIP
- Perform circuit testing for voltage, amperage, continuity, and safety
- Direct and lead development of engineering implementation plans and project drawings
- Perform quality checks and support safe work environments
- Conduct systems pre-tests and acceptance tests
- Supervise ISP/OSP Engineers or subcontractors
- Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes
