Tool and Cutter Grinder (Nights)

Join our Tool Grind Department as a Tool and Cutter Grinder! We are looking for a candidate with mechanical aptitude and strong computer proficiency who is eager to learn a new, valuable trade. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to teach you how to create the cutting tools essential for our manufacturing operation.

Requirements

• Manufacture precision cutting tools for the aerospace/power generation industries using state of the art CNC grinding and inspection equipment.
• Operate five axis tool and cutter grinder machine (ANCA) to manufacture cutting tools.
• Use inspection equipment to measure cutting tools.
• Laser Marking to etch tool information on each tool.
• Communicate with team lead and/or management on needs within the department.
• Adjust program and grinding process to maximize quality and efficiency and perform complex setups with minimal direction and supervision.
• Work to high standards and contribute to continuous improvement; communicate issues to team leader in a timely manner; effectively leaves notes for next shift.
• Assist in maintaining the department's equipment and preventive maintenance.
