Job Description
The Emergency Communication Specialist I position is responsible for receiving calls for service, providing instruction to callers, and entering calls in the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. The position requires handling of highly sensitive and confidential information, working in a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation, and assigned shifts work varying hours, weekends and holidays. The position requires 1 year of experience as a 911 emergency telecommunicator within the last 5 years.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of 911 Telecommunicator Experience, required
- Valid unrestricted Passport or Colorado Identification Card
- CPR Certification
- EMD certification
