Lead - Security

The Lead - Security is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy for the site, aligning with the group policy and business requirements. The role involves budget planning, performance improvement, governance, security risk assessment, security audits, intelligence collection and analysis, management and review, security control room operations, patrolling and surveillance, and business traffic management, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

• Contribute to business Security strategy and Security roadmap
• Plan, prepare and monitor security budget
• Define performance metrics for evaluating Site Security domain
• Identify process gaps in Site Security processes and lead process excellence initiatives
• Conduct security risk assessment and implement mitigation measures
• Facilitate internal or third-party security audits
• Design ERCP (Emergency response and control plan) plans for crises/emergencies/incidents
• Cultivate reliable sources of information for intelligence gathering
• Monitor and analyze daily local, national, and international news
• Analyze gathered intelligence, foresee risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Monitor site operations and ensure adherence to established SOPs and SOGs
• Create security awareness and training programs for employees and community
• Oversee end-to-end operations of Site Security Control Room
• Manage exceptions in patrolling procedures
• Oversee the end-to-end operations of Access Control and ensure process adherence
• Oversee the end-to-end process of visitor access card management
• Conduct investigation of Security incidents
• Drive the Security systems, processes, and operations to ensure round-the-clock protection
• Channelize and coordinate traffic management to ensure least impacted route continuity
• Ensure the site/road survey conducted and then plan for Overweight and Over Dimensional Consignment
• Monitor and review the outsourced staff strength and conduct recruitment
• Oversee and evaluate performance of the third-party security personnel services provider
• Engage periodically with the outsourced security employees to cater for their welfare
• Ensure the deployment of OMPs as per the work breakdown structure (WBS) and as their competency
• Lead talent acquisition for all vacant positions at the site
• Drive a performance-driven culture – Set goals, review performance, and provide feedback
• Identify and drive projects towards creation or improvement of security technology aids (automation systems) and infrastructure augmentation
• Implement and monitor efficient project management practices for timely execution and maximum RoI on identified projects
