Requirements
- Actively promote port services and maintain regular contact with customers through direct presentations and participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Prepare and send client proposals within marketing bandwidth, and draft contracts for customer confirmation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payment collection processes, including regular follow-up on outstanding payments to ensure timely revenue flow.
- Address and resolve customer queries by identifying issues, providing suitable solutions, and following up to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Conduct competition mapping by tracking existing and prospective customers at competing ports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop detailed profiles for current and prospective clients, and periodically prepare and submit MIS reports and presentations to the management for strategic insights.
- Compile comprehensive client profiles (Black Book) detailing product information, production capacity, consumption patterns, and key decision-makers for both current and prospective clients.
- Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
