Job Description
ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Habilitation Assistant to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and personal growth. This role involves providing direct support in daily living, implementing program plans, ensuring safety, and promoting inclusion within the program and community. The company fosters a team culture of learning, support, and collaboration.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of related experience (preferred)
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- AMAP certification (within 6 months of hire) or ability to obtain it.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding the rights of individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
