Job Description
ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Habilitation Specialist to design and implement individualized programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves supervising staff, training participants, maintaining records, utilizing resources, and advocating for individuals' needs. Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and teaching skills
- Proficiency in using a personal computer and appropriate software
- Ability to operate wheelchairs and adaptive equipment
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to analyze problems
