Job Description
ADAPT Community Network, formerly United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of NYC, provides services to people with developmental disabilities. The Residence Program Specialist provides care and supports the independence of individuals living in their residential facilities, fostering a homely atmosphere and providing training in daily living skills. The role requires maintaining safety, addressing emergencies, and assisting with various tasks.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures
