Job Description
ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Residence Program Specialist to support the care, development, and independence of individuals living in a residential facility. The role involves fostering dignity, respect, and learning while creating a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of related experience (preferred)
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to respond to crisis situations and make sound decisions
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities
