Join the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as a Project Analyst to contribute to the administration of assigned projects and provide statistical, administrative, and analytical support to project administration and portfolio management in general.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in civil/water resources engineering), agriculture, economics, rural development, business administration or related area.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience across sectors preferably with the agriculture, food, nature, and rural development (AFNR) sector, and/or water resources sector;
- Knowledge of contract administration practices, procurement rules and regulations, safeguard implementation and their applications in the country context.
- Ability to quickly understand operational procedures of multilateral/development financial institutions.
- Good analytical thinking and demonstrate expertise in critical analysis and understanding on feasibility studies, technical drawings, and design reports related to AFNR sector.
- Establish and maintain productive contacts with appropriate officials of host government, donor agencies and executing agencies.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft software packages for performing word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, database applications and other required information technologies.
- Familiarity with local languages and institutions
