Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in civil/water resources engineering), agriculture, economics, rural development, business administration or related area
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience across sectors preferably with the agriculture, food, nature, and rural development (AFNR) sector, and/or water resources sector;
- Knowledge of contract administration practices, procurement rules and regulations, safeguard implementation and their applications in the country context
- Ability to quickly understand operational procedures of multilateral/development financial institutions
- Proven ability to undertake background research and analysis on difficult but well-defined tasks
- Establish and maintain productive contacts with appropriate officials of host government, donor agencies and executing agencies
- Proficiency in using Microsoft software packages for performing word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, database applications and other required information technologies
