Role Overview

Join the Calculations team within Core Product Engineering to build sophisticated financial maths algorithms into Addepar's analytics platform. The team focuses on scalability and performance, collaborating with designers, product managers, and customers to deliver robust, secure, and highly usable applications.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement new financial concepts, enhance the performance and capabilities of the core Addepar calculations engine, create innovative features, and collaborate on architecture designs and code reviews.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Applicants must have extensive professional backend software engineering experience, experience with server-side languages, relational databases, and excellent communication skills. Bonus: experience working with high traffic distributed systems.

Requirements

• Extensive professional backend software engineering experience
• Experience with server-side languages like Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server)
• Ability to complete complex projects involving partners across multiple teams
