Job Description
As Preconstruction Estimator, you'll own cost estimates from conceptual design through tender, coordinating with design consultants and trade contractors, and providing cost intelligence for project feasibility and go/no-go decisions.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of construction estimating experience with direct experience on residential high-rise projects
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code and municipal permit processes
- Experience with CCDC contracts and construction procurement
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings across all disciplines
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of high-rise construction methods, materials, sequencing, and current market conditions in the GTA
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
