Job Description
Advanced Drainage Systems is a leading manufacturer of stormwater and onsite septic wastewater solutions. The job of Blender Operator requires the ability to work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and follow instructions. The position involves maintaining raw material for each line through proper material blending processes, transporting recycled plastic to the blending machine, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent communication abilities
- Strong forklift skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to stay on task with little to no supervision
- Basic mechanical skills (IE troubleshooting and general preventative maintenance abilities)
- Flexibility with operations and the ability to work weekends when needed
- Willing to learn and grow with the line and the company
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and stay aligned with expectations
- Able to work in a team environment
- Dependable
- Basic math and computer skills
